So you purchased a navy suit. You are comfortable with a color other than black or grey when it comes to your suit. You can match your shirts and ties really well with it and make it creative (I do enjoy a tartan shirt with a solid bright colored tie, myself!).
Now you have to decide what shoes to wear with it. Well I have compiled a small list of what color shoes with navy suit works best.
Everyone will be asking you for fashion tips after you read this!
Brown leather loafers
Brown leather loafers are my favourite look when it comes to a navy suit. In order to pull off this look, it has to be a skinny navy suit with brown leather loafers. When I guy pairs it with no socks, a colorful button down shirt and a bright tie, he has a look that will go from the office, to happy hour and then a night out with the guys or that special woman of his.

The style is classic and therefore looks as though he just stumbled out of his wardrobe wearing it as if everything else was in the laundry.
Some of us ladies know that you put some effort into matching your color scheme and for that we applaud you.
If you do not feel comfortable wearing a tartan shirt, then you can also wear a plain, crisp white shirt with the navy suit. I would just avoid wearing loud, bright solid colored shirts.
A tie is also not mandatory, but it does complete the ensemble quite nicely. If you skip the tie, then put a pocket square in your blazer pocket. This will keep the navy suit looking smart and effortless.
If you invested in a navy suit that is not skinny, I recommend a brown leather boot instead of the brown leather loafer. It will still look smart, but the trouser length and width will be better suited with a boot instead.
Plus when you sit your ankles will be covered and it will not look as though you are wearing high waters.
Black leather shoes
The likes of many actors wear the navy suit and black shoes. They often pair it with a light blue or crisp white button down shirt, a plain tie (if they even decide to wear one) and black leather shoes.
The suits can be worn skinny leg or just normal cut. If you like to make a statement, then I advise fun and bright colored socks. Why not a pair of bright red socks or some argyle patterned sockspatterned socks? This will create a statement and they can even be a conversation starter.
You can also add a bright colored pocket square to complete your ensemble. When Prince Harry wears a navy suit, he often leaves his blazer left unbuttoned which makes him look more confident and comfortable with his own personal style.
If this is something you like the look of, and then try it too. Black leather shoes can often look stuffy, so it is all about what you do with the rest of the suit to make it look more relaxed and approachable.
Fashion does not have to be boring when wearing a suit; it just has to be adjusted to your personality.
White leather shoes (or even sneakers!)
Wow. Words cannot describe what it takes to pull off a navy suit with white sneakers. This look screams confidence and comfort. Instead of wearing a crisp white shirt, you just wear a white t-shirt.
My favourite would be a graphic t-shirt with a slogan or catchphrase on the front. No tie. No pocket square. The white sneakers and t-shirt says it all.

If you like the white shoes, but your office or place of employment does not allow sneakers, and then wear white leather loafers or ankle boots. It still looks quite sharp, but has a more professional look.
I would then also trade the white t-shirt in for a more class crisp white button down shirt, but still no tie. This look is supposed to exude confidence, not a stuffy professional.
Keep the blazer open as well if you are wearing the crisp white button down shirt. The blazer should only be buttoned when wearing a t-shirt.
Conclusion
These three options for what color shoes with navy suits go with best should be followed by every man. You can alter your navy suit to match your personality and lifestyle.
The more hipster inspired can wear the brown leather loafers with a tartan shirt and bright tie. A classic and sophisticated man goes with the crisp white shirt, optional tie and black leather shoes.
And our confident man who can pull anything off wears a white t-shirt and white sneakers.
There is a look and style for every man and his navy suit. There is no age limit for style here.
